About this product

The Amba UV family are medium-pressure mercury arc UV curing lamps built from a top-quality quartz envelope containing mercury and argon, with tungsten electrodes via molybdenum foil seal and a metal cap or ceramic base. A typical lamp operates at 120 W/cm; most inks and coatings cure in the 254 nm and 365 nm regions. Adding metal halides (gallium iodide, iron iodide or other rare-earth iodides) enhances spectral output for specific applications, enabling additional bands such as 385 nm and 417 nm.
